Deal alert: Nonstop flights to Berlin from LA and NYC start at $119 each way.

DEALS - 29-07-2022

Recent news was generated by the low-cost airline Norse Atlantic Airways when it revealed that its long-haul service between Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) would launch with introductory one-way fares as low as $120.
However, these are not the only marked-down airfares now offered to Germany's super-hip capital city; other airlines also have cheap airfares to Germany from a number of U.S. departure destinations, including Baltimore, Boston, and Newark.

Since they are economy tickets, you'll frequently have to pay extra for checked baggage.
It's useful to be aware of airline luggage restrictions before making a reservation.
August marks the start of Norse Atlantic's under-$200 one-way tickets.
For travel between November and April, there are further discounted rates included in this offer.

Being adaptable with your trip plans, as we always advise, will enable you to get the best available price.
With airfare being so expensive these days, that is much more the case.

We appreciate Scott's Cheap Flights for letting us know about this offer early.
The cost of its Premium membership is $49 a year.
For $199 a year, you may upgrade to the Elite tier, which gives you access to discounts on premium economy, business, and first-class tickets.
You'll discover a better deal if your trip schedule is more flexible.

Deal fundamentals

Airlines: TAP Air Portugal, Delta, KLM, Norse Atlantic, and Play.

Berlin travel routes include Baltimore, Boston, Los Angeles, Newark, and New York City.

To make a reservation, use Google Flights and contact the airline directly.

Dates for travel: August through April.

Flight examples

Norse Atlantic's discount prices are not yet available on Google Flights.
To make a reservation for these, visit the carrier's website.
However, there was a tonne of availability for flights to JFK Airport in New York City, starting at just $119 one-way.
The most affordable category of Norse is called Economy Light.
You might want to consider upgrading to Economy Classic, which is still a great deal at $209, although that rate doesn't include a free carry-on.

Additionally, TAP Air Portugal was offering cheap round-trip tickets in January from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Berlin for $368.
Although there is a stopover in Lisbon, Portugal, this cost does include a free carry-on bag.
Just so you know, we found far more availability and lower costs for flights to Berlin from Newark than we did from JFK.

In the fall, we discovered under-$500 round-trip tickets to Berlin from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
You must pay for a carry-on since this flight is on Play Airlines.
Therefore, you must account for that additional expense in your vacation arrangements.

If you live in Los Angeles and are looking to travel to Germany, you should check out Norse Atlantic's fall rates.
We discovered enough of availability from LAX to Berlin at the special one-way fare of $137.
It's an excellent bargain to pay for a nonstop flight to Germany, even when you pay to check a bag.
