Flights from the United States to the Philippines start at $754 round trip.

DEALS - 09-06-2022

The Philippines has reopened its borders to visitors and removed the requirement for vaccinated foreigners to stay in quarantine.
Why not satisfy your wanderlust and plan a vacation to this renowned Southeast Asian destination?

This latest contract is for flights from Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, and New York City to the Philippines' capital city of Manila and Cebu.
Even in this era of sky-high airfares, we found some substantial discounts, as well as a few outright bargains.

Between September and March 2023, there is the most availability for travel.
Because this rate offer is for Economy tickets, you will almost always have to pay for checked bags.
Before making a reservation, it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the baggage restrictions of the airlines.

Scott's Cheap Flights was the first to notice this deal.
For $49 per year, you may become a Premium member.
For $199 per year, you may join the Elite tier, which gives you access to discounts on premium economy, business, and first-class tickets.
You'll get a better deal if you can be more flexible with your vacation arrangements.

Deal fundamentals

Delta, Philippine Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and United Airlines are among the airlines that fly to and from the United States.

Routes to Cebu City and Manila from Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, and New York City.

How to book: Use Google Flights to look for available flights and book directly with the airline.

From September through March 2023, the best availability is available.

A few examples of flights

Let's start with a great deal on a round-trip ticket on Singapore Air from Los Angeles (LAX) to Manila (MNL) in February: only $781.
We liked that the layovers were not too long, in addition to the significant price reduction for this trip.
Some of the better deals in this offer have lengthy layovers.
That is not the case with this one.

In November, we also spotted some good prices from Los Angeles to Manila, like as this Philippine Airlines ticket for $948.
While this fare is over $200 higher than the one we just showed you, it is nonstop on a Boeing 777.
So, if saving a few bucks by travelling direct is worth it to you — and this is still a great deal compared to average airfares — this one might be for you.

In the fall, there is a lot of availability on sale tickets from LA to CEB.
In September, Philippine Airlines is offering a great round-trip ticket for only $948.
In October and November, we found similar costs, although many of those routes had two or even three stops.

United offers a $1,122 round-trip flight from Newark (EWR) to Cebu.
If you want to take advantage of the sale pricing, you'll almost certainly have to make two stops each way if you fly from Newark to Cebu.
Is there any hope?
United's ticket includes a free carry-on bag as well as a free first checked bag.

If you opt to travel out of New York City's Kennedy Airport (JFK), you'll have a similar alternative.
Singapore Air has some fantastic prices to Manila, including a handful in February for less than $800 round ticket, but you should expect two layovers.

Finally, in early November, we discovered a good deal on a Turkish Airlines ticket from Miami (MIA) to Manila.
This fare includes a complimentary checked bag, further reducing the cost.
