Flight examples

The variety of choices and flexibility offered by this Southwest bargain stand out.
You may book this offer up to three weeks in advance, and you can fly from practically any U.S. location.

The majority of the places you may fly to with this deal are, however, smaller ones, which may be convenient for visiting relatives or on business trips but may not be ideal for vacations.
The Southwest offer does, however, also include airfare to places like Austin, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.
There are also a few international lines that go through Cuba, the Bahamas, and Mexico.

Flight costs range from $59 to $300, with international flights often costing the most.

A few highlights are as follows:

    • Starting at $59 from Las Vegas to Burbank, California.

    • Starting at $71 from Atlanta to Orlando.

    • Starting at $89.50 from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

    • Starting at $105 from Fort Lauderdale to Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

    • Starting at $111 from New York to Washington.

    • Starting at $171, you may travel from Boston to Miami.

    • Starting at $176 from Charlotte to San Francisco.

This Southwest promotion is only valid for economy airfares.
The airline's Wanna Get Away option, which is equivalent to its most affordable economy rate, costs $111 one-way for a flight from New York's LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) to Washington's Dulles International Airport (IAD).

The Wanna Get Away price from Southwest is nonrefundable and includes two complimentary checked baggage.

You can reserve a hotel via Southwest as well, but be aware that the combined cost of your airfare and hotel will be at least $800.
The least expensive hotels Southwest provides through this package run about $819 per person, and the amount includes both the flight and the hotel.

Even though the entire package is inexpensive, the hotel, the Governor House Inn in Falls Church, Virginia, is only a two-star hotel and is located about 20 minutes away from Washington.

A round-trip ticket from New York to Washington would cost about $222 without the hotel package.

Enhance your purchase

These credit cards offer additional points when used to pay for airfare:
The Citi Prestige® Card (5 points per dollar on airfare), Citi Premier® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve (3 points per dollar on airfare), American Express® Gold Card (3 points per dollar on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through Amex Travel), or the American Express Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year) (2 points per dollar on travel).

Numerous North American cities are accessible via inexpensive flights.
