Fly as early as mid-August on flights to Vegas for less than $100 round-trip.

DEALS - 02-08-2022

Travelers in the West and the South should be aware that if casinos and high-stakes shows have been on your mind recently, you may want to schedule a flight soon.
Right now, round-trip tickets to Las Vegas can be purchased for less than $100, and there is ample availability beginning with flights leaving in just a few weeks.

Looking for a short trip to end the summer?
Do you intend to travel over the Labor Day weekend?
Or perhaps you're more interested in the next winter or autumn?
All of the traditional carriers offer flights for less than $100.

The major West Coast hubs, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport, are where the flights included in this deal leave from (SFO).
The best news is that there is probably availability in this pricing bracket for pretty much any date you choose over the next few months.
Additionally, there's a possibility that you'll be able to choose between your preferred heritage carrier and Alaska Airlines.

You can receive economy bargain alerts for $49 per year with a premium membership, and for $199 per year you may receive premium economy, business, and first-class deal alerts.

This could be a good deal to take advantage of whether you're most interested in slot machines, table games, renowned resorts, a lovely meal out, or all of the above.

Basics of deals

Airlines: United, Delta, Alaska, and American.

Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, and Phoenix are the routes that get to Las Vegas.

Travel dates: Mid-August 2022 to January 2023, though availability may finish sooner in some places.

Booking options include going directly to the airline or using Google Flights.

Beyond the thrill of Las Vegas itself, the availability of these bargains is what makes them interesting.
While not all cities included in this deal have alternatives starting in mid-August, virtually all of them do. Some cities have sub-$100 round fares available as far out as January 2023, while others do not.

Although conventional knowledge holds that it is more difficult to negotiate a reasonable price just a few weeks before departure, there can always be exceptions, and it appears that this is one of them.

The most options are for round-trip flights leaving from LAX, where all three legacy airlines have hubs and all three offer fantastic rates to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).

Listed below are a handful of the routes and costs we discovered:

    • United offers a $98 flight from San Francisco to Las Vegas.

    • Delta offers a $90 flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.

    • Los Angeles to Las Vegas on American for $90.

    • Austin to Las Vegas on American for $90.

    • Phoenix to Las Vegas on American costs $118.

Given that United Airlines has a hub at the busiest airport in the Bay Area, it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that it has the most availability out of San Francisco in this price category.
If you're game for a slightly prolonged Labor Day weekend break, check out this fantastic choice.
You can travel on a round-trip basis for $98 from Saturday to Wednesday.

One of the many airlines offering round-trip tickets from LAX for around $100 is Delta.
Mid-August round-trip tickets for a fast, under-an-hour flight each way are available for $90.
Similar choices are available from Southern California on American, United, and Alaska airlines.

While I was unable to discover comparable costs out of Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) or Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), I was able to get $90 round-trips out of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), typically on American, in August and early September.
Each way, the flight takes just under three hours.

Although they weren't quite as cheap, flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) often remained around $100, like this $118 round-trip on American.

I should also mention that low-cost carriers like Spirit Airlines offer choices.
Technically, a round-trip ticket from Los Angeles to Las Vegas costs $49 per person.

However, a full-size carry-on is not included in that cost.
You would need to pay an additional $128 round-trip for that.
So, if you can get by in Vegas for a weekend with nothing more than a backpack, this could be a wonderful bargain.
You won't be able to choose your seat for free, it goes without saying.

Enhance your purchase

You will receive 5 points for every $1 spent on travel while using the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
If you want to earn 5 miles for every $1 spent on flights booked through Capital One Travel, think about using the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.
With The Platinum Card® from American Express, you may make up to $500,000 in expenditures each year and earn 5 Membership Rewards points for every dollar spent on flights booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel.

In conclusion

It's a good offer to take into account when you can book a round-trip travel on a major airline for less than $100.
In this instance, $90 to $100 may even get you flights to enjoy the final long weekend of the summer season on the Las Vegas Strip.
