Fly for $200 round-trip from LA to Honolulu.

DEALS - 27-01-2023

As I write this, snow is falling outside my window, so it sounds fairly amazing to schedule a last-minute trip to Hawaii for next month.

Throughout the month of February, a number of airlines, including Alaska Airlines, are offering round-trip tickets from Los Angeles to Honolulu starting at $200.

We are unable to predict how long this offer will last because it has not been publicized.

Basics of deals

Airlines: United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines.

Routes: From Los Angeles to Honolulu.

Booking advice: Deal directly with the airline.

Travel dates: February; blackout dates may apply.

Book by: As soon as possible; reservations for Alaska flights must be made at least three days in advance of departure.

Thank you to The Flight Deal for being the first to report on the Alaska deal.

Flight examples

Given that costs for this route change during the month of February, the quickest approach to finding this offer is to look for the lowest pricing by date.

Afterward, choose your chosen return flight time from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL).
You can find even more affordable flights after choosing a date, with one-way prices starting at $99 and round-trip prices starting at $197.

Keep in mind that the least expensive flights are for Alaska's Saver fare category, which allows passengers to bring one full-size carry-on but charges $30 round-trip for each bag that must be checked.
It is not possible to modify or cancel these prices.
Seat preference is not available.
For an additional $60 round-trip, think about switching to a Main fare.

If you want to go this way, be aware that Hawaiian Airlines, United, and Delta all have flights for February at comparable prices.

Enhance your purchase

Don’t forget to use a credit card that earns bonus points on airfare purchases. Frequent Alaska Airlines flyers should use the Alaska Airlines Visa® credit card to earn 3 miles per dollar on eligible Alaska Airlines purchases. Or consider The Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year), Citi Prestige® Card (5 points per dollar on airfare), Citi Premier® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve (3 points per dollar on airfare), American Express® Gold Card (3 points per dollar on airfare when booked directly through the airline or Amex Travel) or the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card (2 points per dollar on travel).

In conclusion

From LA, there are $200 round-trip flights to Hawaii.
Book quickly before the offer expires.
