Fly to Los Cabos in the fall and winter for as little as $220

DEALS - 18-10-2022

Recently, there have been some great flight sales to Mexico, including low-cost flights to Cancun.
You can now travel to Los Cabos for a reasonable price if you live on the West Coast.

Check for discounts this fall and in the first few months of 2023 if you want to stay at Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo.

Cabo, located in Mexico at the southernmost point of Baja California, is home to many stunning beaches and hotels, including the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal.
Of course, it consistently experiences warm weather.
It might be the ideal late-fall or winter vacation you've been looking for all of those reasons.

By taking advantage of this offer before it expires, you may liven up the end of your fall trip itinerary or guarantee that you'll spend at least some of the winter in paradise.

Basics of deals

Airlines: United Airlines, JetBlue, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Aeromexico.

Several routes connect San Jose del Cabo with Austin, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

How to book: We advise using Google Flights to find your flights, followed by direct airline booking.

November 2022 through February 2023 are the available travel dates.

Flight examples

We noted the $250 or less round-trip airfare to Cabo.

Here are some of the selections we thought were best:

    • On American, you can go from Austin to San Jose del Cabo for $230.

    • JetBlue charges $220 for travel from Los Angeles to San Jose del Cabo.

    • On Alaska, you can go from San Diego to San Jose del Cabo for $244.

    • Take United for $274 from Houston to San Jose del Cabo.

Keep in mind that there is plenty of availability from other places across the U.S. if you're keen to travel to Cabo but your city isn't listed. Flights to those locations, meanwhile, cost between $300 and $400.
Although the costs aren't quite as excellent as those out of Austin or Los Angeles, if you know you'll be travelling during the upcoming winter, it might still be worth locking in a flight (while keeping an eye out for a better deal).

The fact that Austin Bergstrom International Airport has recently offered some of the best discounts is not a huge surprise (AUS).
On American Airlines, the trip is only a brief hop away and is scheduled for the week following Thanksgiving.
For $230, you can fly to Cabo and back.

Even less will be charged if you leave California.
JetBlue will be operating flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in just a few short weeks.
It takes around 2 1/2 hours to go nonstop from Austin to the tip of Baja California.

The agreements also cover the next year.
Spend the second week of 2023 at the shore for about $244 round-trip on Alaska Airlines from San Diego.
If you leave at 7 a.m., you might make it to a resort in time for lunch.
A late afternoon departure on the way back means that you may take full use of your last day in Mexico.

Enhance your purchase

Don't forget to use a credit card that gives you bonus points when you buy airline tickets, like The Platinum Card® from American Express, which gives you 5 points for every dollar you spend on airline tickets booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel (up to $500,000 in purchases per year).
When booking flights directly with the airline or through Amex Travel, the Citi Premier® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and American Express® Gold Card all earn 3 points for every dollar spent on airfare.
The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, meanwhile, awards two points for every dollar spent on travel.

In conclusion

Consider visiting Los Cabos if you're looking to travel as soon as possible or if you want to start organizing a trip you can look forward to once the Christmas season is over.
There are numerous possibilities for low-cost flights if you reside in Texas or on the West Coast.
