Because airlines are more dependable in the event of a cancellation, delay, or booking modification, we advise using Google Flights to check for availability before buying your tickets directly from the airline of your choice.

The SAS flight leaving from Chicago at 4 p.m. on February 24 will cost you the least money if you plan to travel to London during that week.

The best deal for returning flights is the SAS flight on March 3 at 9:55 a.m.; all other options on that day cost close to $6,000.

Keep in mind that due to third-party choices, Google Flights occasionally displays lower pricing than what is offered on the airline's website.
In this instance, Google Flights indicated that the cheapest trip from London to Chicago was $714; but, if you were to make a reservation on the SAS website, the price is $746.
The third-party booking site is where the $714 sticker price is found.

You'll notice less restrictions compared to the basic economy because these deals to Europe are for the premium economy.
Seat selection, one personal item, a carry-on, and checked luggage are all included in SAS Plus Smart tickets.
A three-course lunch, free Wi-Fi, and priority boarding are also included in the cost.

You would need to pay an additional $170 to check two bags for your journey if you wanted to add a second checked bag, which would cost an extra $85 each way on SAS.

Enhance your purchase

Make sure to use a credit card that offers extra points for booking flights, such as The Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, on up to $500,000 in purchases made on these cards annually), Citi Prestige® Card (5 points per dollar on airfare), Citi Premier® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve (3 points per dollar on airfare), and American Express® Gold Card (3 points per dollar on airfare when booked directly with the airline) (2 points per dollar on travel).

Flying to Europe can be pretty expensive, but many of the bargains for the premium economy are under $1,000, making them worthwhile to book.
