With this limited-time offer, you may gain up to 60,000 additional United points when you book a cruise.

DEALS - 16-03-2023

United fans, take note: By taking a cruise in the upcoming weeks, you may earn some major extra miles.

Starting on Wednesday, United Cruises will award MileagePlus credit card holders up to 10 miles for every dollar spent on a trip. The standard deal was up to 7 miles for every dollar spent, but now it's up to 15.

The maximum number of miles that a client can earn by making a cruise reservation with a MileagePlus credit card has also been increased by United Cruises from 45,000 miles to 60,000 miles.

So even, you can earn 60,000 miles if you spend $6,000 on a cruise during this period.

The amount of United MileagePlus miles is respectable. United MileagePlus miles are currently valued at 1.21 cents each, which means that 60,000 miles would be worth $726 according to our estimation.

You can still earn miles at a high rate even if you don't have a MileagePlus credit card.

For customers without MileagePlus credit cards, United Cruises is also increasing the possibility of collecting miles as part of the promotion.
They can start earning up to six miles for every dollar spent on a cruise on Wednesday. From up to 4 miles for every dollar spent, this is an increase.

A customer without a MileagePlus credit card can now earn up to 45,000 miles from United Cruises when they book a cruise, up from the previous cap of 25,000 miles.

Also, for clients who reserve a trip by Friday, United Cruises will waive the deposit requirement on voyages that require deposits of up to $500.

The bonus miles must be claimed quickly, so keep that in mind.
Just through March 31 is the incentive for accelerated miles available.
It is applicable to fresh reservations for voyages planned to depart between March 16, 2023, and December 31, 2024.

Information about the bonus mile offer

Customers who reserve a balcony cabin or suite are eligible for the bonus mile incentive (the two types of cabins that account for the majority of cabins on many ships). Customers who use MileagePlus credit cards will receive:

    • 10 miles per dollar spent on balcony cabins or suites, up from 7 miles per dollar spent.

    • 4 miles per dollar spent on all other cabins, the same as before.

Customers without MileagePlus credit cards will get:

    • 6 miles per dollar spent on balcony cabins or suites, up from 4 miles per dollar spent.

    • 2 miles per dollar spent on all other cabins, the same as before.

Bonus miles are earned per cabin and are only given to one passenger per cruise booking, among other restrictions.
Customers must also make their reservations through the United Cruises program in order to qualify.

Also, the total cost of the trip, excluding port fees, port expenses, and taxes, is used to determine how many miles consumers can earn as part of the program.

The fine print states that the offer is "subject to availability, capacity-controlled, and may be altered or discontinued at any moment without notice".
According to United Cruises, miles will appear in MileagePlus accounts six to eight weeks after the cruise has ended.

Which credit card should I use to make a reservation?

By utilizing a United MileagePlus credit card, such as the United Club Infinite Card, which earns 2 miles for every dollar spent on cruises, you may get the most out of your purchase.
80,000 bonus miles are now being offered with this card once you make $5,000 in purchases within the first three months of having your account open.

It is advisable to use a card that offers bonus points on cruises if you don't have a United card. The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, which awards two points for every dollar spent on travel, including cruises, is a terrific choice.
Now, you can get 60,000 bonus points after making purchases totaling $4,000 during the first three months of starting your account.
