Avelo increases its service and adds flights to Big Sky Country in Montana.

NEWS - 27-03-2023

The newest location for Avelo Airlines, which will begin nonstop service from its base in Burbank, California, is Kalispell, the gateway to Montana's mountain resorts.

Earlier past week, low-cost airline Avelo announced that it would be introducing flights between Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Glacier Park International Airport (FCA). By making the change, the carrier's network will expand to encompass 41 locations spread across 24 states.

Between Kalispell and the Southern California airport, which is located 12 miles from Los Angeles, only Avelo operates flights.

May 22 marks the debut of service between FCA and BUR, with one-way prices beginning at $49. The new airline intends to employ a Boeing 737-700 for the twice-weekly flights, which will take place on Mondays and Fridays.

According to Avelo CEO Andrew Levy in a statement, the new route will make it simpler for Kalispell residents to go to Los Angeles and other parts of Southern California.

Getting to Southern California is now simpler than ever because to our exclusive nonstop service to Los Angeles, he claimed. Residents of Kalispell may now say goodbye to expensive, inconvenient, and unreliable air travel.

Three additional flights were just added by Avelo from its hub at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, the company said only last week (RDU).
The airline added that it intended to begin operating flights between Mobile International Airport in Alabama and Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina and Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN).

The carrier's Burbank hub will now serve 12 markets thanks to Kalispell.
The following are the additional 11 locations Avelo flies to from Burbank:
