Deals on some of the top attractions in the UAE are available with "My Emirates Pass."

NEWS - 30-05-2023

If you're traveling with Emirates this summer and going to the United Arab Emirates, keep your boarding pass with you. You might be able to seriously save money.

Your boarding pass qualifies you for Emirates' My Emirates Pass program, which entitles visitors to the area to hundreds of discounts (amounting to a maximum of 50%) upon showing their boarding pass at admission.

Visit Emirates' website to get the complete list of available deals.

Here's a sample of some of the offers currently available.

Dubai Opera

By visiting Dubai Opera, where a variety of events such as the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" and shows by contemporary artists like singer-songwriter Tom Odell take place, you may add a little bit of the arts to your vacation.

To make the most of the venue while you're in Dubai, you can save 20% on backstage tours, which reduces the cost of tickets to just 137 dirhams (about $37.31).

Motiongate Dubai

Motiongate Dubai is a cutting-edge theme park in Dubai created in partnership with three of the biggest motion picture studios in Hollywood: DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures, and Lionsgate. It focuses on storytelling and high-octane thrills.

The park offers rides and attractions based on popular films including "Shrek," "John Wick," "The Flintstones," and the "Now You See Me" franchises, among others. It operates across five distinct zones.

Your single-park entrance will cost $62.30 when you use your My Emirates Pass, a 30% savings.

Aquarium & Underwater Zoo in Dubai

If crystalline waters and close interactions with wildlife are more your style, you'll be extremely satisfied visiting the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. Visitors can wander through its enormous 2.6 million-gallon main tank, one of the biggest suspended aquariums in the world, and witness more than 140 species. The world's largest collection of sand tiger sharks can even be dived with by the more daring.

At the Dubai Aquarium, show your boarding card to receive a 25% discount on any package.

Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park

The Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park are must-see attractions if you're traveling with children or if you're just a big fan of the construction toy.

The Factory, where you can witness how Lego blocks are manufactured, as well as Lego City and Kingdoms, where you can ride The Dragon roller coaster, are must-see attractions. The entire motif of Legoland Water Park revolves around everyone's favorite bright tiny bricks. For children aged 2 to 12, both are ideal.

You may expect to save 30% on one-day passes to either of the two parks when you present your Emirates boarding card.

The fine print

However, there are a few things to remember when using your My Emirates Pass.

    • The boarding card holder is the only one who will benefit from the discount; the rest of the group will not be eligible. Fortunately, if you came to the UAE with a group, each person ought to, in theory, have a boarding card.

    • While in the UAE, you are free to use your boarding pass as often as you like to receive savings. For example, you can benefit from the savings each time you go if you want to visit Motiongate or Legoland more than once.

    • From May 1 to September 30, 2023, the program is in effect. To access your discounts all summer long, simply use any Emirates boarding pass issued for a flight during that time.

    • You'll need to have some identification with you because to receive the discount, you must show your paper or electronic boarding card and a photo ID that exactly matches the name on the boarding pass.

    • Sorting through the many deals on offer is not too difficult. You can quickly narrow down your search results by the attractions you want to see or the location, such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Ras Al Khaimah.
