Members can receive up to 30,000 extra points for stays at IHG hotels throughout September.
Make sure to sign up for this program before making travel arrangements if you're thinking about taking an autumn vacation or anticipate traveling for work in September.
IHG One Rewards points are worth 0.5 cents each.
You can earn the equivalent of $150 with this promotion at the highest bonus level, in addition to the standard accrual of points and Elite status requirements throughout your stay.

Deal specifics and restrictions
IHG Rewards One members must register following receipt of an invitation in order to take advantage of this targeted promotion.
(Entering your email address or member number and password suffices.)
Please be aware that members who did not get a message from IHG may not be eligible for this promotion.
The total number of nights spent at IHG locations in September will determine how many bonus points you receive.
You will have accumulated 10,000 points once you have stayed five nights.
Ten nights of lodging will earn you 20,000 additional points.
You may get 30,000 points for 15 nights of stays at IHG hotels if you stay there for the first half of September.
The tiers of point awards are not cumulative.
To put it another way, you would only be awarded 30,000 points for 15 nights of lodging (instead of 30,000+20,000+10,000 for completing each level).
Furthermore, even while the ordinary points you earn throughout your stay will count toward elite rank, the extra points do not.
The qualifying nights must be spent at a participating Mr & Mrs Smith, Six Senses, or IHG Hotels and Resorts property.
The hotel booking page will provide information regarding a property's participation in the program.
The minimum spend for a booked stay must be $30 in order to qualify for this promotion, thus free award-based stays are not eligible.
Even if you book two 15-day stays, the promotion may only be redeemed once in September for a maximum of 30,000 points.
The deal is only valid for one rewards member per room, and it only applies to that night's stay.
Within six weeks, points awarded should appear in your account.
Using your IHG points
There are other ways than this particular promotion to increase your IHG rewards points.
Using an IHG credit card is a terrific way to earn points for stays as well as for regular expenses like petrol and groceries.
If you do book a stay at an IHG hotel in September as part of this campaign, you may use the no-fee IHG Rewards Traveler Credit Card and many other branded cards in their program to earn an extra five rewards points for every dollar spent.
It could be a good idea to apply for an IHG card right away if you don't already have one.
By booking IHG hotels for your bonus vacations in September, you could potentially reach the minimum spend required to qualify for their bonus deals.
